Ashley was two months premature and weighed 2lbs 8 ounces. In ICU, Ashley spent the whole month. On Christmas Day, her parents learned that she would need heart surgery. Her parents' prayers were answered Christmas Day when they went to the doctor and found out that Ashley's artery was shut. Ashley did not require of any surgical procedures. The hospitalization she received lasted for two months and she only weighed 4 1/2 lbs after she returned home. Since then, she's in good health! Her father has English and German ancestry. Her mother is Irish. Acting debut made in 2002 Salon Surprise Barbie Doll advertisement. Ashley was first approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she reached the age of eight. Ashley has been steadily working for The Ford Modeling Agency for many years. As a young girl Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley was able to perform 35 commercials before moving into roles in the theatre. The acting was her passion now. Ashley has dedicated all her energy in acting, and never had any spare time for modeling or dancing. Ashley's last appearance in ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley had a short cameo appearance in the music video "True Love" performed by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears appeared in a Vogue Magazine shoot. She's in NLT "That Girl" as well as an music video.
